Mission of the Risen
Christ has also
been added to our new parish of Misión
Encarnación.This is a little wooden shack,
reminiscent of the old
Sagrada Familia.
The physical structure is inadequate, it is the
least of our
worries. The surrounding community is basically
dead, there
are no pastoral groups, apostolic movements, nothing!
Due to the difficult financial circumstances of the community
and
the lack of personnel within the community of the Missio-
naries of the
Holy Spirit and the geographic location (very far removed from the mother
church), they were unable to attend to the mission's needs. The
community suffered from inconsistent attention (they hadn't had Mass said
in months!) Our plan is to bring the "Misionaras de La Palabra" (Mexican
religious order of sisters) to work in this community and help rebuild
this community. |
